The ball vase with a small mouth has a standfoot and is decorated all around. The color is intensive turquoise for the body and white for the foot. The patterns – fields with double-lines and endless knots – are of black color. Bottom: grey-unglazed clay.

Description

The ball vase with a small mouth has a standfoot and is decorated all around. The color is intensive turquoise for the body and white for the inside unglazed foot of grey clay. The top is black and has a black decorative circle underneath. The patterns are different. Six fields, each limited by vertical double lines – start from the shoulders and extend to the foot. Inside the fields are the endless knots – painted in black color. These knots belong to the eight Buddhist symbols and symbolize a long life. Allover craquelures. (HV)
