Description

The daintily glass flacon was intended as a perfume container. There is a grommet with flutings curving to an oval body, then a holder with dickerings. The bottom is separately attached. The color is light brown with irregular dark brown splashes, the bottom bottle-green.
Flutings were already in Roman times decorative elements and discovered for the Islamic handicraft. [1] The object is packed in a wooden box that bears Chinese characters on the front. It can be closed with black straps. (HV)
