I moved from Milano, my home town, to Asia soon after University lured by the romantic idea of the exotic. Reality was not quite matching the expectation but the curiosity for an ancient culture, the beauty to be rediscovered kept me there. I run a 25 ys successful business which helped me sustain my passion for Asian art, culture and collecting.
From Taipei moved to Shanghai where I did an IMBA (International Master of Business Administration) study at Jiao Tong university. Within the IMBA I focused on the Chinese art market because I have always been fascinated about how beautiful objects can dialogue through the ages.
After graduation I made the move to Tokyo where I now established a company, trying to foster this dialogue juxtaposing ancient artifacts to contemporary and design pieces. Everything I do is aiming to create unexpected moments of beauty.

When I was graduated from Humanistic High School my next step were two State Exams for teaching at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich. To follow my true specific interests in museums and art, further studies were dedicated to Philosophy and History which I completed with a „Doctor of Philosophy“ (Dr. phil.), and later became a professor.
As Head of the Department for Contemporary History and International Relations at the Centre for Museum Education/Bavarian Art Collections I managed projects for different types of museums and exhibitions. I really enjoyed the courses for teachers and museum staff at museums, memorial sites and international summer schools for museology.
New spectacular paths emerged. The first was the task as a secretary and later as the President of the International Committee for Museology (ICOFOM) in the International Council of Museums (ICOM). I had the opportunity to gain experience in international museum life for over decades and insights into museum-cultures in Europe, the USA, Latin American and Asian countries and Australia. On the occasion of expert conferences I was able to present my own ideas in numerous lectures. My publications were equally dedicated to museum studies: History and Arts, Museum Philosophy, Museum Ethics and World Heritage. Until a few years ago I was a lecturer at the „Academy of Nations“ in Munich and at Munich School for Philosophy. The teaching activities there were characterized by topics on the Asian arts in an interdisciplinary and intercultural comparison. Thanks to lively exchange with colleagues and friends in Taiwan and Japan I was lucky enough to delve deeper into Asian art ideas.

My journey started in a small town in the south of Munich in Germany from where I moved to Wiesbaden near Frankfurt for studies. Soon the connection to Asia was established when the road of life brought me to Bangkok, Thailand as an exchange student. In Thailand where I got connected to the region and its culture. Life offered further colorful experiences to me that even led me to places in China, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan and Vietnam.
A Bachelors graduate (B.A.) and Masters degree (M.A.) later, I performed a deep dive into project work supporting with operational knowledge and crossmedial capabilities as well as media production techniques within the IT industry. Working in a multicultural and globalized environment continued the opportunity to keep in touch with people from the asian continent and creating great outputs together. Staying connected to the eastern region whilst linking asian arts and culture of the Silk Road to new grounds by media and communication thereby became one of my flourishing passions.
This multilateral connection is thriving my dedication for the M07 operation and the development of its concept to bring new ideas to life.

Growing up in a small town in Southern Germany, close to the Alps, I became aware of the positive influence of my immediate surroundings at an early age. But while my roots are deeply anchored in this home setting, my curiosity and fascination for other cultures grew steadily. During my studies of international business and management at an Austrian university, this initially led me to Spain, among other places, where I was able to complete my Bachelor’s degree. The subsequent Master’s degree with a focus on marketing not only expanded my academic knowledge, but also deepened my understanding of intercultural relations. It also strengthened my passion for the beauty and diversity of art from all over the world.
My aim is to create a unique symbiosis that combines the timeless elegance of past eras with the innovative approaches of our present. For me, this connection is not a question of contradiction, but rather an opportunity to establish a lasting appreciation for Asian art and to merge it into a timeless, unique aesthetic.
