The head of a warrior \u00a0or may be a guardian, is made of terracotta. The man\u2019s head is characterized by a thick nose, plump lips, flat eyebrows and a curved moustache. The ears are as usual. Tong and moustache show remains from a red-orange color. Two large felts shape the forehead. The hair runs in waves and is joined together to form a towering knot. The head and back of the head were also originally painted. Overall orange color remains are visible. The great skills of the Tang artists are evident e.g. in the depiction of war campaigns where reddish tones dominate.
