Description<\/span><\/h1>\n

The light grey green conical shaped seladon bowl with standring has patterns inside and outside. On the inside bottom appear craquelures. Around the lower part is a band of ruyi cloud-head ornaments. The inside middle-part surfaces bear three flying phoenixes set among stylized patterns of clouds. Beaks, eyes and legs are inlayed in black clay. [1]<\/a><\/span> The other decoration consists of patterns in white slip.<\/span>
\u00a0A decorative ribbon close to the mouth surrounds the body: it consists of oblique dashes and wavy elements of grasses. The outside ornaments are included in a broad ribbon arround the body. Four double-rounded medaillons design the main surfaces. Each has an ornament: a \u00a0chrysanthemum and tendrils. In between the flower-medaillons are stylized filling patterns, like a net of tendrils. The bottom bears traces from burning support. (HV)<\/a><\/a><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
