Description
The goblet-like bowl belongs into the Korean Buncheong ware that was produced during the first two centuries of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910). This Korean creation was from the quality a middle-thing between celadon and porcelain. The bowl is set up to a high slightly conical pedestal, that is hollow inside and bears some leftovers from oxidation. The bowl and the mouth are dark grey, on the inside glaze appear tiny glittering air bubbles.
The uneven patterns of the two-parted object are differently structured. On the outside surface of the bowl are two white circle lines under the dark grey mouth and. The „grid patterns“ are horizontally arranged and appear like a field of dots. The pedestal shows vertical arrangements in two-to-one structures with dots. Around the lower part is a bordure with circles and aslant line patterns. (HV)
